A practical nest box with a clean cottage profile.

FieldGable combines natural cedar with a contrasting pitched roof for a birdhouse that looks considered without relying on oversized decorative elements. The 1.5-inch entrance is intended for an Eastern Bluebird-style nest box setup; suitability should be checked for the species and conditions in your area.

Inside, an unfinished wood surface and shallow grooves below the entrance provide a textured interior. Upper ventilation gaps and floor drainage openings are built into the design. A side-opening panel provides maintenance access once the nesting cycle has ended and the box is unoccupied.
